In New Hyde Park, the busiest hours are Friday and Saturday evenings and any night with a big game, when quoted delivery times can stretch past an hour; ordering before 5 p.m. or picking up yourself avoids the wait. Delivery radiuses are small, often two to five miles, and a minimum order plus a delivery fee is normal, with a tip of a few dollars for the driver on top. Lunch specials such as two slices and a drink, or a personal pie, are the cheapest way to eat at most shops across New York on weekdays. Toppings are priced per item and half-and-half pies are usually free to request. The pizza was fresh and crisp! I personally prefer my onions diced smaller and cooked down a bit more, but overall, it was a really good pie.

I’ve been to this pizzeria several times over the past two weeks, and the eggplant ricotta slice has always been excellent, which is why I returned. Today, however, the slice I was given looked dry, old, and not fresh. Thankfully, I checked it before leaving because they usually tape the box shut. I politely asked the older gentleman behind the counter if I could have a different slice. When he asked what was wrong, I simply said I would prefer a fresh slice. Instead of addressing my concern, he became defensive, insisting he only serves fresh slices. As he took the slice back, other customers saw it, made facial expressions, and quietly commented that it didn’t look fresh either. One customer even joked, “I think you hurt his feelings.” I wasn’t rude or disrespectful. I was simply paying for food that, in my opinion, is expensive, and I expected a fresh slice. I was honestly shocked by the way he spoke to me. As a female customer who approached the situation politely and respectfully, I did not expect to be met with such rudeness and aggression over a simple request. I don’t understand why he asked what was wrong if he was going to become upset with my answer. The pizza has bee

2nd time eating here and it was the most unpleasant dining experience for me and my family. Pizza is alright nothing to brag about. Everyone that worked there (except for the gentleman who took our order in the front) made it seem as if it was a problem that we had our kids with us. Whoever the owner is should re-evaluate who they hire to represent their name. You’re in a hospitality business - you need to like people and that includes children of all ages. Safe to say not a kid friendly pizzeria and definitely won’t be returning.

GiGi’s Pizza truly impressed me. I tried both the classic cheese pizza and the spinach Alfredo pizza, and honestly, they were fantastic in every way. The cheese pizza was exactly how a great slice should be—perfectly balanced sauce, rich and gooey cheese, and a crust that was crisp on the outside yet soft and airy inside. Simple, classic, and done right. The spinach Alfredo pizza completely stole the show. The Alfredo sauce was creamy and flavorful without being heavy, the spinach was fresh, and every bite felt indulgent but well-balanced. It’s one of those pizzas you keep thinking about after you’ve finished eating. You can tell quality ingredients are used and that real care goes into their pizzas. Whether you’re in the mood for a classic slice or something a little more unique, GiGi’s Pizza delivers. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to others.

12/9/25 **“I absolutely love Gigi’s Pizza—hands down one of the best pizza places I’ve been going to for years. From the moment you walk in, they treat you so well and make you feel welcome. The customer service is always great, and the staff is friendly, attentive, and consistent every visit. The atmosphere is amazing—great music playing, a clean space, and I really love the updates they’ve made to the dining area. It feels modern, comfortable, and inviting, which makes you actually want to sit and enjoy your meal. Overall, Gigi’s Pizza never disappoints. Great food, great service, and a great vibe. Highly recommend!”**
